CEOCOR is an association of corrosion professionals and experts.
It studies all problems relating to corrosion and protection
of all kinds of pipelines.
Created in 1955, the committee worked as a de-facto association
until 1981 when it acquired legal status and became a non-profit
association under Belgian law. Today 14 European countries are
members of CEOCOR..
Ceocor Membership
CEOCOR is an association that brings together more than 100
specialists coming from universities, research centres, water
and gas supply companies, waste water companies, pipe producers
and manufacturers of coatings and cathodic protection systems.
By adhering to Ceocor, the organizations and experts confronted
in their countries with problems of corrosion can like this
be supported in their problematic.

After payment, you will get a username and a password to access
to all publications and recommandations.
Scientific tasks
· Research
· State of the art technology
· Exchange of experience and knowledge of corrosion phenomena
· Protection measures for buried, immersed or aerial
metallic or non-metallic equipment for the transportation or
storage of various products (mainly water and gas).
Publication of research and documentation results into production
of booklets, guidelines and recommendations for example alternating
current corrosion, cathodic protection, coating and material
selection etc.
Pre-normative activities
Development, on the basis of multinational shared propositions,
of technical concepts and recommendations in order to participate
and propose the formulation of standards and technical documents
by European Standardisation bodies

Members
Members are representatives of organisations belonging to universities,
research centres, water and gas supply companies, pipe producers,
manufactures of coatings and cathodic protection systems
Structure
Three Administration levels · Annual general assembly
brings together all the members.
· Board of directors, composed of two administrators
per country, meets at least twice a year.
· Standing committee, as an ad-hoc group of the board
of directors, plans and co-ordinates the scientific activities.
Working method
· Triennial planning of scientific activities
· Topics examined by specialists in working groups Plenary
meetings, twice a year, of the sectors and management bodies of
the committee
· Annual congress
